Hi, I'm Nova, otherwise known by my artist alias VOIDSTARZ. I'm a neurodivergent (Autism & ADHD) Digital Artist and Content Creator (among many other things) with anxiety, social phobia, and chronic pain. I use creativity as an outlet to express myself and a way to cope with my struggles.I hope to inspire and show others that it is possible to take your passions and use them as healthy coping mechanisms that can help you on your journey to becoming a happier, healthier, authentic version of yourself.

I am passionate about advocacy and have spoken at various events regarding mental health, neurodiversity, & chronic pain/disabilities through my own experience(s) navigating life as someone who lives with these on a daily basis.Since 2019, I have been the Youth Advisor for the XP Crunch Podcast Show "Mindful Gaming: Mental Health Round Table Committee" where I speak at national Mental Health Conferences and Geek Conventions. In 2021, I was featured as a panelist at Mental Health America.I also do public speaking (advocation and awareness) for those with autism, ADHD, anxiety, mental health, and other mental struggles.I have been featured in local newspapers and interviewed by/featured in media outlets for my artwork and autism advocacy.

What art program do you use?
On PC/laptop, I use Medibang Paint or Magma. Both are free applications you can get access from the web. Medibang Paint is a free downloadable program and Magma you can use in browser.
On mobile, I typically use Ibis Paint X. It is a free art application you can download from the app store.What do you use to edit videos?
I use Wondershare Filmora X. They have a free demo/trial program, I believe, but I use a paid version/subscription.What devices do you use to draw?
My PC drawing tablet is the VEIKK A15 10x6 inch and my mobile drawing tablet is an iPad Pro (11-inch) (2nd Generation).Can I repost your art?
I would prefer you reshare through more helpful means, such as reshare functions already implemented into many social platforms. This is due to the fact I am on basically every mainstream and upcoming social platform- & even niche ones. There is no real reason to repost my content on a platform I already exist on. However, if I do not already have an account on a site & you would like to reshare, I do not mind as long as you ask and are given explicit permission from me.
If you are a private account, such as a "spam/vent" or "kin" type of page, I do not mind as long as there is credit!Can I use your art as an icon?
Of course! As long as there's credit somewhere, I don't mind at all. I love seeing this!Can I use your art in an edit/for page customization?
Sure, as long as I'm credited! If you do these, I'd love to see them. Feel free to share and tag me in what you use my art for!Can I make my own posters/custom stuff from your art?
I have no problem with my audience printing my art at home for individual nonprofit use only. However, I strongly encourage supporting me and my products/art financially.

If I did not ask for it directly, kindly refrain. If I want constructive criticism/advice, I will ask. Do not provide it unwarranted, especially if you are going to be posting it for content.Why do you often take breaks/go on hiatus?
I have a personal life outside of my art and unfortunately that means sometimes I get busy. I also have physical and mental health struggles that can often interfere with my ability to function normally. To make sure I am giving you all my best, I tend to step away for a while until I am ready to return.Why are you so private?
Healthy boundaries are important and I am a human being worthy of respect, privacy, and space.Will you ever make NSFW/sexually explicit content?
If I did, I definitely would not do it under my Voidstarz brand. However, I have no plans or any desire to make this type of content, truthfully.Why do you draw LGBT/POC/Disability stuff so much?
Because as someone part of those groups, I like to see that represented, especially because I didn't get to see myself represented in media often growing up.
I want to be able to give others that feeling of being represented, too. The world is big, humanity is diverse. It is beautiful. I like that about life, we're all different and yet at the end of the day, we're all just humans experiencing the joy of being alive.
I always promote embracing individuality, the things that make us who we are- or make us up, I suppose. It is part of us, even if it isn't our entire identity.But also cause it's fun, I like it, and I want to. If what I make isn't your cup of tea, that's okay, too, as long as you're not being disrespectful.How do I submit questions/feature art?
Well, there's always social media, email, or you could reach out with any Q&A-type questions and art through my strawpage or my tumblr.
